What is Freak’n White ™ tooth whitening?

It is a whitening system that lightens discoloration of tooth enamel with the added benefit of VIOCIN ™.

How does it work?

In the two-step process, the clear gel's active ingredient is Carbamide Peroxide. As the Carbamide Peroxide is broken down, oxygen enters the enamel, bleaching colored substances while the structure of the tooth is unchanged. The viocin gel is a simple, bleach-free addition that boosts the whitening effect, getting teeth whiter, faster. Freak’n White ™ is the only teeth whitening product that offers this unique whitening process.

What is Viocin?

Viocin is a newly patented technology in the oral care industry. Viocin is a combination of oral care dyes which, when applied to teeth, counteracts the yellow that traditional whitening leaves behind to reflect white. When used with Carbamide peroxide, Viocin increases the whiteness and brightness of your teeth-making teeth whiter, faster!

How is Freak’n White™ different?

No other teeth whitening system uses a complimentary color gel (viocin) to achieve immediate results. The 22% Carbamide Peroxide gel coupled with our patented viocin gel have been formulated to be an excellent balance of powerful but gentle whitening. Reinforced with Xylitol this whitening system provides decreased sensitivity, decreased enamel erosion and more immediate whitening with shorter exposure periods.

What can I do if I have sensitive teeth?

Sensitivity can make it difficult to continue a bleaching regime. There are several things that can be done to help reduce sensitivity. When using Carbamide peroxide, be sure to follow directions and do not use to excess. Toothpaste formulated for sensitive teeth or those containing baking soda will help to neutralize sensitivity. If sensitivity persists, consult your dentist or stop whitening for a couple of days then resume after the sensitivity has past.

Does the viocin cause sensitivity?

No! Bleach-free viocin has an amazing ability to whiten teeth with zero sensitivity. Viocin uses the power of color to produce true white. At the onset of using Carbamide Peroxide bleach little if any whitening is noticeable. When Carbamide Peroxide is followed by the Freak’n White's ™ viocin gel, the teeth are immediately whiter and brighter as the complementary violet color balances any remaining yellow hues on the surface of the teeth. The bleach-free viocin gel is the perfect alternative for those suffering sensitivity!

Who benefits from teeth whitening?

Tooth enamel becomes more discolored as we age, a person with yellow teeth has the appearance that they don't brush and have poor oral hygiene. Many times stains, such as coffee and tobacco are impossible to remove with brushing alone. Anyone over the age and 12 and not currently wearing braces, can benefit from this teeth whitening process. Stained and yellowed teeth from tobacco, coffee, tea, wine, soft drinks or food, can be whitened. Dark-stained teeth or dull teeth due to trauma or tetracycline-affected teeth can be whitened for a more beautiful smile. Everyone can benefit from the added confidence that a healthy, white smile brings.

Will the process harm crowns, porcelain, bonding or veneers?

Dental work such as crowns, bonding, veneers, or composite fillings is not harmed by the whitening process. Because they are artificial surfaces, not enamel, they do not respond to the whitening process. Freak’n White ™ is the only product that has been proven to whiten and brighten porcelain back to its original state.

How long should I wait between individual applications in the system?

The product is designed to be used daily. However, small amounts of Carbamide Peroxide remain within the tooth structure for up to 36 hours. When a new dose is applied to a tooth retaining the previous day's peroxide, its effect is greater. This may cause sensitivity issues for some, but great results may still be obtained by spacing applications a few days apart for comfort or convenience.

Do I need to finish all the applications in the system to get results?

Best results will be obtained if all of the applications in the whitening system are completed. This is particularly important for an initial application or if it has been over a year since your last whitening application. However, a few applications might be all that is necessary to periodically touch up your smile.

How often should I do a complete 9 application treatment/How long will the results last?

Dental professionals agree that the only way to maintain your whitened teeth is with at-home whitening products, repeated regularly — preferably every three to six months. Some are advising patients with dark-stained or tetracycline-affected teeth to continue home bleaching over a period of months (or up to a year) for optimal results.

Is whitening safe?

Whitening is safe, but it is always important to use the product as directed. Do not use a whitening system while you are still in braces. Don't be too overzealous and whiten too frequently! When in doubt, ask your dentists opinion.

Are there any risks or side effects?

Whiteners should always be used as directed. If whiteners are over-used or used incorrectly, they can harm your tooth enamel and irritate your gum tissue. Also, over-bleaching can produce an undesirable bluish hue, chalky whiteness or uneven results. When used as directed, the Freak’n White™ system achieves the most beautiful results and is formulated to lessen sensitivity or irritation and reduce enamel erosion.

What if I wear braces?

DO NOT attempt to whiten your teeth while you are still in braces! Peroxide could affect the bond of the glue on your brackets. Whitening will not occur under the bracket and may leave yellowed spots in the middle of the teeth when the brackets come off. Save whitening for after the braces come off.

How long can I store the gel?

The clear gel (Carbamide Peroxide) does have an expiration date of 12 months. This is to ensure potency and effectiveness. The viocin gel will store indefinitely and will give the same incredible results. Both gels will have increased storage life if they are stored in a cool dark place.

Whiten Your Teeth at Home

This is an at-home teeth whitening system. It comes with trays that can be molded in your home. With Freak'n White, now you can enjoy the whitening results that you have expected.

Tips:

-The best time to begin at-home whitening is soon after a dental hygienists prophylactic cleaning. This procedure removes the surface layer of plaque and pellicle that can   hinder whitening.
 
-Dentists and oral care companies urge brushing and flossing the teeth just prior to any kind of at-home whitening.
 
-For best results, don't consume food or beverages (excluding water) for a couple of hours after whitening. Certain foods and drinks that are known to have a high staining factor (red wine, dark berries, cola, coffee, tea, tobacco, candies, etc.) should be avoided during the entire whitening cycle to achieve greater whitening results.
